Blogging Awareness Commences

This Is NOT a Tutorial

OK, I really hate reading tutorials, but its come down to where I think its inevitable, I'm going to have to read one, or two. I am far from being web creation/coding/computerknowitall savvy, and despite thinking I could figure it out as I went along, I'm falling short. So I keep stopping while I type this, and I keep glancing at these icons up above (I'm on the blogging dashboard page I think). Some icons are familiar, and others aren't, and I'm compelled to just start clicking all of them to see what they do.With my luck I will delete this blog completely, accidently email  this post to everyone I know, and inadvertently close my blogger account. 

Yet these icons want to be clicked (oooh, lookit that! I clicked one and made italic!) That was liberating! Let me try another...yay! New font style! OK this isn't so scary. The little icon button up there ^^ that looks like a picture says I can insert an image. I wonder how hard that could be? (I'm aware that if anyone actually reads this other than myself, that person, being you dear reader, has no idea what I'm looking at. Unless of course you have your own blog, and are more seasoned than I am. Maybe you should tell me how to create a blog. Wait, I'm just talking to myself, what was I thinking?) Where was I? Oh yeah, add an image.

OK that was a little challenging, since I couldn't quite figure out how to position << the image, nor if placing it would even work at all. I do like that a small box below the image auto populated, and assisted me with margin and size options, and that was pretty self explanatory. I forgot to mention, that just after I selected the "add image"icon, I was also given the choice to upload from a file I could browse for on my computer, from my phone, from this blog, from picasa, or from a URL. I like having the ability to use those options if I need them! However, I'm not liking this font, so I'm going to mess around with the formatting some more.

I happen to like colorful text, and the larger font styles are easier on the old peepers, yet I can get carried away with colors. That can be downright annoying. For me. OK, gotta stop.NOW!

Whew! That's quite enough for today. I was tempted to try more iconny buttons, I mean, my fingers were all wiggly, and pokey, and stuff. Glad I have some self restraint. Ya know, I probably should go read a tutorial. I don't think I could handle any more of this wanton, brash, and spontaneous behavior. I mean, I could do irreversible damage here.
So adieu, more boring reads to come, and hopefully cooler formatting.
